What to Plant Now

Caution! This is a work in progress for my own reference. Still lots of trial and error ; ) Fruit Fly population heaviest June-January.

Beans          Anytime but July, August, September = hot and dry.
Peas            October to February
Potatoes      January-February
Onions        October-January
Cucumbers  November-March
Squash        November-March
Tomatoes    Anytime but March is best for growth. Might need heat mat to help germination.
Peppers      Anytime.  March is best for growth. Might need heat mat to help germination.
Eggplant      Anytime but March is best for growth. Might need heat mat to help germination.
Garbanzo    April
Fava            March-April (Not December)
Soybean      April?
Sweet
Potatoes      May
Wing Bean  May
Peanuts        June
Cowpeas     June
Corn            June
Romanesco  October (might be late)

Hi Jonny~

March is a fine time for peppers as long as you can provide enough heat for them to germinate. I'm afraid it was a bit of bad writing that caused the confusion. I just made a quick edit that will hopefully clear things up.
